The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for round 25 of the 2023 NRL Premiership against the Newcastle Knights to be played this Sunday 20 August at 2pm at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Demetriou has named the same starting lineup that defeated the St George Illawarra Dragons in Cairns last round, with Michael Chee Kam named on the interchange bench this week to replace Jed Cartwright. Junior Tatola and Hame Sele have been named on the extended bench as they attempt to prove their fitness to return from injury.

Rabbitohs halfback Lachlan Ilias is set to play his 50th NRL game against the Knights this Sunday, having made his debut against the Dragons in round 25 of the 2021 season. Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Demetriou will also be NRL Head Coach for the 50th time this Sunday afternoon, having taken the reigns of the Rabbitohs in round one, 2022.
